Beaufort Women’s History Walking Tour website says: George Parsons Elliot House, 1001 Bay Street. George Parsons Elliot House served as hospital #15. There are well preserved lead drawings on the walls from the civil war era to include soldiers in uniforms and names of soldiers.  The drawings were found under wallpaper during a restoration.

National Archives says: Hospital Number 15. Beaufort, South Carolina.

MOLLUS collection says: Beaufort, S.C. Officers’ Hospital.

MOLLUS collection also identifies Hospital No. 7 as “Officers’ Hospital.”
