Chartered Aug 17-Oct 14, 1862; Oct. 17, 1862-May 2, 1863. Listed as being engaged by War Department with Department of Virginia as mail boat to Norfolk as of Oct 22, 1862, apparently running from Washington, DC. Continuing on duty with Department of Virginia as of Mar 11, 1863. Chartered again June 1, 1863-May 9, 1865.
