National Archives says: Infantry camp.
Railroad turntable, probably at the end of a spur that was run south of the O&A railroad in the direction of Stevensburg at a site known as Lone Tree Hill in Culpeper County during the winter of 1863-64. We wish we could remember who to credit that information to.
