Library of Congress says: Engine “Nashville” of the Lincoln funeral train. Photo shows a Cleveland, Columbus & Cincinnati Railroad engine, with a portrait of Abraham Lincoln mounted on the front. The engine was one of several used to carry Lincoln’s body from Washington, D.C., to Springfield, Ill.
Abdill, Civil War Railroads, p191: The NASHVILLE of the Cleveland, Columbus & Cincinnati Railroad stands in front of the wooden frame station, ready to handle the Lincoln funeral train. The group of uncovered men around the old Cuyahoga eight-wheeler are probably the operating officials of the road.
