Library of Congress says: Marked graves in a section of Arlington National Cemetery referred to as the “Field of the Dead.” [Summary: Photograph shows headstones for Corporal James Roberts of Company H, 24th New York Volunteers, who died July 8, 1864, Private Ashael J. Tooley of [Company K,] 2nd New York, who died June 30, 1864, and Private Peter Manuel of [Company K,] 1st Michigan Cavalry who died June 29, 1864.
