The MOLLUS print says: The Swamp Angel No. 1, on Morris Island. A heavy gun mounted far out in the swamp toward Fort Sumter. This gun burst after a few shots were fired from it. It was replaced by a 32 pounder parrott, “Swamp Angel, No. 2.”
