MOLLUS Collection says: Ambulance and Wagon occupied by Mr. Davis and Family, after capture. In front of Maj. Gen. Wilson’s Head Quarters Macon, Ga., May 13, 1865. Note. – Mr. Davis and Suite (throught the kindness of Gen. Wilson) enjoed a most sumptuous dinner, after which, and the necessary preliminaries, were sent by special train to Washington, D. C.
